I need to design 40A 1.8V laser diode driver and need some word of advice as in the past I did from scratch only much smaller DCDCs. As it's a laser diode there will be no fast current changes. My idea is: do synchronous buck DCDC, use PWM from STM32 microcontroller, then MOSFET driver then MOSFETS. 40A for mosfets does not looks like a problem.
